Finally I fit in my Christmas Present! and What's the Big Deal With Snow?

So this is a picture of Carter's first snow. We were in Verona, MS. We woke up Sunday morning and the ground was completely white. Adam, Carter, and I are all still in our pajamas. We took Carter outside and put the snow on his hands. We even let him taste it. It did not get the reaction I had hoped for. He just looked at me like I was crazy. It was fun. Carter seemed less than thrilled with the snow. Maybe next year we can get some actions shots and he will actually care that there is snow outside.

The other picture is Carter in his bouncing play seat. He got it for Christmas, but he is just now able to use it. As you can see we still have to put a pillow under his feet so that he can reach. Poor kid. He doesn't have a chance to be tall. Look at his mom and dad! He loves the seat now. He chews on all the toys. He really likes to sit in it and watch Handy Manny.

He is growing up so fast. I hope you enjoy seeing all the little things he does as much as I enjoy sharing them. I am such a proud mama!

Yummy to My Tummy!

Carter has started eating solid foods. We started with cereal and applesauce. He loved that. He eats so good. I am proud to say that I am making his baby food. This has been so much fun. So far I have made carrots, green beans, and pears. He has loved them all. Green beans were his least favorite, but he still ate them good. He has been such a good eater and he does great with a spoon. I think sweet potatoes are the next to try.

The first picture is what he looks like every day when I wake him up from his naps. He is so cute. I always walk in his room and say, "Carter. Hey little man. Time to wake up!" He raises his head really quickly and looks at me and smiles. It melts my heart every time. Adam and I sometimes fight over who gets to wake him up. That is how great it is.

So I know you may not be able to tell from the pictures, but he has lost almost all of his beautiful blond hair. There is a faithful rat tail in the back of course. He hasn't lost any of that. He is looking pretty redneck, but I can't bring myself to cut it! No matter what he is still the cutest baby ever!!
